Job Summary:
- Position will be responsible for securing the premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Prevents loss and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of the policy and procedures. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining statements and signatures.
- Maintains organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Responsible for calling the Police or Fire Departments in cases of emergency, such as a fire or presence of an unauthorized person.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property. Answer phone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours.
- Ability to work independently and as a team, ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others, possess a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
- Operates X-ray and metal detecting equipment
- Inspects all employees and visitors to be sure proper identification is visible and following the jewelry policy.
- Monitors video surveillance cameras.
- Monitors AMAG for door alarms.
- Enforces parking regulations.
- Performs product transfers between different building locations
Requirements:
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience and/or customer service experience is preferred
- Weekend availability
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Be able to maintain a TN driver’s license
