About the Role: This position will gain exposure to multiple KUB Departments through various projects/assignments. It will support KUB staff by performing duties such as, but not limited to, querying, transforming, analyzing, visualizing, and forecasting data from enterprise systems, including customer/marketing data, geographic data, and operational/utility system data to support business operations. This position will be exposed to industry software programs such as Power BI, Jira, Esri, Python, SQL, and Office 365.

This is a full-time summer internship requiring 40 hours per week. There is possibility to continue past summer, if it aligns with organizational needs and student availability. If student extends time at KUB into the fall semester, the expectation is 15-29 hours per week.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Physical demands for a specific position within this classification may vary and / or exceed those demands described above.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be and maintain full-time student status of an accredited college or university pursuing an Associates, Bachelors, or a graduate-level degree in Business Analytics or other related major

• Must be available to work 40 hours per week during the summer term

• Must have and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license

Preferred Requirements:

• Junior with completion of Sophomore level coursework
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Possess skills in MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
