About the Role: As a Recruiting Student, you’ll gain valuable, hands-on experience supporting full-cycle recruiting processes from start to finish. You’ll work closely with recruiters, candidates, and HR professionals across multiple functions to help deliver a smooth and positive candidate experience. In addition to recruitment-focused responsibilities, you may also have the opportunity to support other areas of Talent Management including Employee Relations, Employee Experience, and Learning & Development — giving you broad exposure to the field of HR and a chance to grow your professional skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate interview scheduling across departments and serve as a key point of contact for candidate communications
  • Provide high-quality email and phone support to ensure seamless and professional recruiting experience
  • Support job fair and recruiting event preparation by organizing materials, signage, and giveaways
  • Assist with I-9 reporting and ensure documentation is accurately tracked and maintained in accordance with compliance requirements
  • Help manage records retention for hiring documentation, including I-9s and background checks, ensuring accuracy
  • Assemble and mail new hire welcome packets
  • Create and maintain organized personnel files for all new hires, contributing to HR operational efficiency
  • Partner with full-time recruiters to support the execution of student recruiting programs, events, and engagement initiatives
  • Take the lead in conducting student new hire orientations, providing a warm and informative onboarding experience
  • Supporting Employee Relations with file maintenance, retention, and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned across the Talent Management department

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve bending, stooping, reaching, walking, or standing for brief periods of time.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be and maintain full-time student status of an accredited college or university pursuing an Associates, Bachelors, or a graduate-level degree in HR, business, or other related major

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Valid driver's license

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Previous experience in an office, administrative, or customer service setting
