About the Role: Join KUB Fiber and help power the future of connectivity. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Student to support our Operations and Network Engineering team with documentation, process improvement, and project coordination.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with project tracking and record keeping

  • Develop forms, process documents, and training materials

  • Provide GIS/mapping and engineering support

  • Conduct utility records research and data validation

  • Analyze and query data using Excel and Access

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Physical demands for a specific position within this classification may vary and / or exceed those demands described above.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be and maintain full-time student status of an accredited college or university pursuing an Associates, Bachelors, or a graduate-level degree

  • Have and maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Good oral and written communication

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic computer skills and experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Requirements:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate-level degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related field

  • Strong administrative and organization skills

  • Experience with Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Prior experience working in an office/administrative environment
