Summary: Perform and document standardized test procedures on each boat to ensure the product meets Malibu specifications and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Report to work on time and stay in good standings with the Malibu attendance policy.
• Communicate to others respectfully and contribute to positive moral in the department.
• Participate in solving problems concerning safety, quality, delivery and other specified company information.
• Take each boat to the lake, test each boat per the standardized checklist and return the boat to the production line free from damage
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
• All duties must be performed in accordance with Malibu’s safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Work well with others
• Physically fit as job requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting and squatting
• General knowledge of operating power tools and hand tools safely
• Read and execute basic instructions

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Or one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers; Ability to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to identify determine pass/fail criteria

Other Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee driver’s license

Work Environment

• Moving boats via boat dolly, installing batteries in boats
• Ambient weather conditions
• Life vest required when driving boats
• PPE: safety glasses
• Workdays: typical 10 hour workdays, frequent overtime required
