EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of work experience as an LPN.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: LPN. Must be licensed in Tennessee. (CERTIFICATION REQUIRED)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to successfully handle multiple responsibilities.

• Excellent technical skills.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records.

• Willingness to learn new computer skills.

1. Assists physicians with procedures and patient visits.

2. Provides direct patient care; obtains vital and brief health history.

3. Administers intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.

4. Enters quality data into electronic medical records and assists with coding and billing.

5. Provides patients with treatment advice via telephone or secure messaging based on established protocols.

6. Completes FMLA and disability paperwork.

7. Schedules referrals for patients, as needed.

8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
