Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Exercise Physiologist role based in Knoxville. The Exercise Physiologist will develop and implement a patient-specific mobility plan, assist with patient ambulation and activities of daily living, and assist with patient education. Exercise Physiologists may also be required to train on unit-specific tasks appropriate for the role.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology from an accredited institution.
• Relevant professional certification (e.g., ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist or equivalent) preferred or eligibility to obtain within a defined timeframe.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, team-based environment.
• Experience in an acute care hospital or outpatient rehabilitation program is highly beneficial.
