Job Description

This dual role requires a mix of property management, leasing, and tax expertise to ensure compliance and optimize leasing operations. Includes responsibility for managing the leasing process for properties while providing specialized analysis and advice on tax matters related to company owned assets.

  1. Manage the full leasing process, including tenant acquisition, lease negotiations, renewals, and terminations
  2. Prepare and review lease agreements, ensuring all terms are accurate and legally compliant
  3. Maintain leasing documentation and ensure all required disclosures and addendums are fully executed
  4. Monitor lease compliance and follow up on delinquencies or disputes
  5. Manage and provide confirmation for the list of company owned and lease properties including property audits
  6. Perform duties associated with payment, accounting, and documentation of tax and licensing liabilities
  7. Provide strategic advice on minimizing tax liabilities related to PFJ real estate investments and leasing
  8. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure tax compliance for all PFJ housing sites
  9. Acts as the liaison between onsite managers, team members, and landlords
  10. Ensure all activities follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  11. Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years of leasing experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting experience preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel
  • Broad Knowledge of leasing policies preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information ethically and responsibly
  • Ability to independently handle, research, evaluate and resolve simple leasing matters
  • Ability to embrace technology, as well as utilize and transact in HR systems, portals, knowledgebase and case management
  • Ability to follow standard procedures in resolving issues and knowing when to refer to higher tiers or legal department when appropriate
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
