The Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Store Development & Facilities is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that optimize the total cost of building, operating, and maintaining Pilot facilities. This role oversees procurement for utilities, construction, capital equipment, and facilities maintenance, balancing cost efficiency, service reliability, and risk management. The positions partners closely with Construction, Facilities, Finance, and Operations to ensure sourcing strategies enable growth, standardization, and value.
Essential Jobs:
- Execute sourcing strategies for utilities, construction, capital equipment, and facilities with focus on total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Partner closely with Development and Construction to optimize the sourcing and contracting for new store builds, remodels, and facility operations, ensuring cost discipline, scalability, and service reliability
- Drive a cost-effective utilities procurement strategy, providing uninterrupted service to all Pilot locations while leveraging technology, innovation, and strategic sourcing to drive sustainable efficiencies
- Establish preferred supplier programs, driving standardization to our supplier relationship management through SLA’s, continuous improvement, and innovation
- Own the end-to-end supply chain, providing best-in-class service and cost for the provision and delivery of building materials, equipment, and facility service providers
- Monitor market dynamics, cost drivers, and regulatory considerations impacting utilities, construction, and facilities maintenance
- Track, validate, and communicate savings, including capital expenditures and ongoing operating expense
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Sets or contributes to the business strategy for own team and function.
- Leadership of people in all work activities, including contributing to the motivation/development of the team.
- Analytical thought needed to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations, without supervision.
- Developed communication skills to negotiate internally and externally at high levels.
