Job Description
Student Disability Services within the Division of Student Life invites applications for the position of Testing Coordinator. This is an exempt, 12-month, full-time, non-tenure track staff position.
The mission of Student Disability Services (SDS) is to partner with the campus community in creating equitable access to eligible students while promoting disability-inclusive diversity. Staff is comprised of 23 professional and administrative employees.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Disability Services, the Testing Coordinator manages and coordinates the daily operations of the Student Disability Services (SDS) Testing Center, including supervision of the testing specialists.

Qualifications
Education: This position requires a bachelor’s degree.
Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience working directly with students in a post-secondary educational system or other relevant testing services role. A Master’s degree may substitute for years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of test administration standards/guidelines
- Skilled in document conversion software to provide accessible exam and instructional material through various media platforms
- Ability to effectively/efficiently manage people/priorities
- Ability to develop/present testing policies/procedures
- Ability to stay abreast of current and emerging trends and information in testing and document conversion
- Ability to maintain and present accurate records, reports, and statistical data
- Ability to research, propose, and implement new technologies and procedures
- Skilled communicator via phone, email, and in person
What We Prefer:
Education: Master’s degree
Experience: Four (4) years of professional experience working directly with students in a post-secondary educational system in a testing environment; Previous supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of ADA and provision of disability-related accommodations
- Advanced computer software skills.
Salary: This position is classified as Market Range 08. The salary is commensurate with experience and other qualifications and is accompanied by a standard university benefits package.
