Job Description
The incumbent will participate in resident conferences, residency applicant interviews, and annual DOM CME conference. Has a commitment and dedication to the education of resident physicians in all clinical areas in addition to supervision.
Supervisory Role
- Associate Program Director for Transitional Year
Responsibilities for Resident and Medical Student Education
- Teaching responsibility for residents during their GI rotations
- Teaching and evaluation in rotations
- Teaching medical students via didactic lectures and during inpatient GI consults
Research
- Participate in publishing case reports, PI/QI projects, resident presentations
Administrative
- Attend departmental committee meetings
- Serve on TY program clinical competence committee
Basic Qualifications:
- MD, ABIM Certified,
- TN Medical License
