Job Description
Cessna Citation XLS/XLS+ and Beechcraft King Air 200/350 line pilot as First Officer (Second-In-Command) for UT Flight Operations located at McGhee-Tyson Airport and /or Memphis International Airport. Pilots aircraft to transport passengers, mail, freight, or for other purposes. Will also assist Chief Pilot with occasional office administrative duties.
The pilots and staff for UT Flight Operations are highly visible representatives of the university and must conduct themselves in a professional manner to all parties whom they interact with on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
Pilots airplane to transport passengers, mail, freight, or for other purposes. Reviews information to ascertain factors such as load weight, fuel supply, weather conditions, and flight route and schedule. Pilots airplane to destination adhering to flight plan and regulations and procedures of federal/state government, university, and airport.
Logs flight information, such as time in flight, passengers aboard, and fuel consumed. Completes expense and other reports pertaining to flights and other job functions.
Performs other related duties as required such as purchasing office/cabin supplies, stocking aircraft with cabin supplies, and assisting Chief Pilot with other office duties.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED
FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate or Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land & Instrument Privileges
FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
500 Total Flight Hours.
25 Flight Hours in Multi-Engine Airplanes.
Excellent interpersonal skills and an excellent safety record.
Must possess basic computer skills.
PREFERRED:
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aviation or any other degree
King Air 350 SIC Type Rating or other King Air experience.
Cessna Citation XLS/XLS+ SIC Type-Rating.
Garmin Avionics Experience
Flight Experience in a crew environment.
Microsoft Office computer skills to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Benefits and Compensation
Compensation for the position is budgeted $90,000 to $100,000.
