Required Education and Experience

The candidate who fills the Systems Engineer position is required to have:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Dev Ops Engineer or similar role in a data or BI- focused environment

• Hands on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), especially services related to data warehousing and analytics

• Experience managing and supporting BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Locker

• Familiarity with modern data architecture concepts, including data lakes, warehouses, and streamlining data

A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required due to travel responsibilities of the position. UTFI reserves the right to consider all appropriate circumstances. In general, any significant driving offense less than 12 months old will eliminate the application from consideration for the position.

Note - Candidates holding a graduate degree must have at least 1 years of experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

In addition to meeting the required qualifications, the preferred candidate will have:

• Master’s degree

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Understanding of networking, security, and authentication protocols (SSO, OAuth, LDAP).

• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, etc.)

• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Mulesoft, dbt, etc.).
